The morning 13 years ago today when my son left to drive to Chicago. As I snapped the photo of his car driving away I realized that he either left me a bag of trash or he just didn't have room in his car for anything else. There was a TV in the front seat and my old coffee table strapped to the roof.

Still need to level the flagstone walkway, fill it in.

I'm not sure if Google adjusted the color for us or not. I had one of my kids take this for me on the way to school one day. We get some pretty vibrant sunrises and sunsets.

The resident bunny. It is here every morning when I make my rounds deadheading the daylilies. It now knows that I am not a threat.

We don't have any bunnies....I think the deer have so overbrowsed the underbrush that there aren't any safe places for them to hang out...

I have lots of bunnies around my house. I welcome them. I woke up in the middle of the night, looked out the window and there were two bunnies sitting in the front yard.

I made some new friends on Friday, an adorable herd of alpacas. :) They were friendly, curious and all waited patiently for me to feed them some carrots. :) This is Anne, their owner, cooling them off in the intense heat we have been having. Thankfully it has finally cooled off and is raining a bit today.

Zebra Swallowtail. Apparently rarely seen away from their host plant and first time I have seen one here.
