Dual toilet paper holders at the toilet
Comments (8)vineyard: We're on about the same timetable as you, depending on--well, everything. The garage was full before we started this venture, although I do reserve enough space for 1 car in it. I have recently resigned myself to being in moving-mode from now till whenever it is. My great room currently has a sink base cabinet DH made. Not boxed up, so I have wrapped Christmas presents stored inside. I can only access them through the cabinet doors, however. Because there's an ottoman, upside down on top of the cabinet. And for now, on top of the ottoman are wood pieces for the new coffee table DH is working on. The wood has to acclimate to indoor humidity levels or something. Are we having fun yet?...See MoreToilet Paper Holders
Comments (10)Most of these comments do not clearly describe which way the open end faces. A contractor installed a single post toilet paper holder in my bathroom last year, I think in the less-convenient (“wrong”) orientation. That is, in tearing off a length of t.p., I tend to tear back to front, requiring either 2 hands or a flying roll. I want to reverse it so that when one tears toward the front, the roll can’t come off, and it shouldn’t required two hands....See MoreOpen toilet paper holder - like/don't like?
Comments (12)I finally get fed up with the wiggly TP holder I got at Pottery Barn. It's just a bad design having one attachment point holding a horizontal roll with constant pulling and tearing. I found this one at Rejuvenation. It costs almost twice as much as the PB holder but it's very stable with two screws. It's also got much more heft and coordinates well with the other PB items in my bathroom. Yes, it was made in China, but it makes the PB one seem flimsy in comparison....See MoreAdhesive Toilet Paper Holder?
Comments (6)Any adhesive strong enough to securely hold a TP holder so that it doesn't loosen and fall off is going to damage the vanity a lot more than two screw holes. Why don't you want to drill into the vanity? Aren't you always going to have a TP holder in that location?...See Moreenduring
