I am finishing a project now (not a contractor, I am the developer) and am using the 4’x 8’ in two ways. I am using the mega-expensive fabricator with the latest tools and machinery that will miter the edges/niches (even with 1/4” material) and do a 1st class install in the PH BUT in the secondary baths I bought the material and let the tile guy (great tile guy) install in 3 bathrooms. Honestly, tile guy was a rock star and did a great job. He used the suction cups and did the walls. Only difference is that he had to make regular cuts and, for example, in the niches you get the metal strip at each finish turn. The price difference is so dramatic, mostly because the tile guy had not used this before and charged me as if I were installing tile. I may have gotten very lucky. The material looks great but if I had to pay the full fabrication true cost I think I would just go with a natural stone next time. Not materially less expensive if doing it the “right” way. Julie , I don't think that is necessary or in the manual guide for install to do that. My builders had input from where we bought appliances and cabinet makers and thoroughly reviewed Wolf instructions. It is just the gas coming out is louder then the other two. The technician said it is completely normal ! But the way its built the gas makes a bit more sound when coming out of those tow burners. I understand I loved having help, and getting opinions. It really is a sleek unit I don't think there is anything else out there with that " look". plus it is bigger then most drop in units.

Blue star is the easiest to keep clean range I've ever owned. Occassionally I will use the scouring side of a dish sponge with warm water but day to day I just brush any crumbs and they fall to the drip tray below and otherwise just a soft cloth maybe a little damp and rub any oils etc right into the cast iron grates. You need to be good with the cast iron patina look it develops of course but super easy to keep clean. Here is a pic that I just took, probably been a few weeks since I've even wiped it down. You might notice in the 2nd picture that the back burner is a bit darker in color and that is due to the front burner being my go to for wok and other high heat searing so it tends to splatter more oil to the back while itself is covered by the pan. I do rotate them around to even that out.

To echo all others, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Made filed the wrong plans with our City Building Dept for someone else's bathroom. Now, we have an unpermitted bathroom. I only discovered the permit issue when I saw that Made installed the wrong vanity, wrong tub, wrong toilet, wrong tile, wrong fixtures...the list goes on, in our home. Inconceivable, considering we signed off on written design plans and a product purchase list. Upon discovering Made's incompetence, I asked the contractor to stop construction while we sorted the mess out. The contractor told me that other Made accounts of his were in litigation. Made said the right items were installed in our bathroom, and they completely ignored the issue of the wrong plans being filed. This is absurd, as everything is in writing, there are SKUs on everything, and the incorrect plans are clearly on record with the City. But Made already had our money (they make you pay everything in advance). Their very obvious strategy is to deny and ignore, hoping you'll give up. So, we hired an attorney to help us elevate our complaints. Again, Made denied and ignored. Thankfully, there is an arbitration clause in the contract we signed. We are very confident that we will prevail when a third party arbitrator is involved. But it's very clear (look at Glassdoor or anywhere else online) that Made will go out of business, and it's just a matter of when. Hopefully, we can recoup some of our losses before then. Years of dealing with Made and all we have is an unusable, unfinished master bathroom that we already paid for, plus a race to arbitration before Made is bankrupt. We've since learned and renovated successfully 2 of our remaining bathrooms by working with a contract designer (Fiverr or Upwork have lots of options) and a local contractor directly. So much better. Do yourself a favor and avoid Made at all costs.
