I am trying to add photo to my post, but am unable to add it. The size of the file is 380 Kb. I dont see any error message, but my photo does not get uploaded. Any help is much appreciated.

Click on the "photo" button under the comment box, select the picture and WAIT for it to solidify. It will be a very light color and then suddenly darkens to the normal picture. Then hit "submit."

Finally able to upload the pictures in my original post.

The shingles look dark brown to me. Are they truly a lighter tan? and the bricks look orange-ish! Are they truly a red?

If dark brown/orangish, a darker blue could be striking. Blues and greens tend to look good with orange and reddish brick.

To complete the look, I would replace the garage side lights with larger ones.

I posted another picture which shows the color of bricks and shingles more closely.

Maybe more of a grayed blue? I have seen it used very successfully, but grover is right, there are all sorts of shades and many will not work at all.

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. We would like to stay with neutral colors. In the picture, I have circled a color. Would that work? or should we keep teh color we currently have?

I think the current color is pretty blah, safe, but blah. I think the circled color can work - if I am seeing it correctly -- hopefully grover will mock that up.

The color you circled has a bit to much of an orange undertone to it. I would try something like Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige #7036

2,4 and 6 look snappy to me. But computer monitors can only do so much. Get samples and paint LARGE boards.

CAP Construction, LLC I tried to look for the diamond vogel shade to the no. you mentioned. is 0217 in diamond vogel close to what you mentioned?

I like the color you have best of all. It looks very close to the mortar on your brick, so it does all work well together.

Amy, I don't know what any of the colors are, but the first rendering was matched to whatever color you painted on the front below and left of the window.

cat_ky I love my existing color too, but my husband wants to change it. I want to thank you all for your suggestions. It helped us decide on the colors to sample. We will try to patch test all the colors (SW accessible beige 7036, SW 7037 Balanced Beige, our existing color - i don't know the shade yet, SW greige, Diamond vogel 0225) and then go from there.
