Comments (18)Hello everyone - I did a mix of both. I trimmed most off with scissors - but ones that were not so close - ones that didn't look like their roots would intertwine others - I pulled out and put into Styrofoam cups. See pics on the link. We'll see how well they survive. Thanks all for suggestions. I'm going to wait a bit to pot up - these cells are pretty big and designed for long root growth - so I think I'll be good. Unless others disagree? Again - my first year doing this! Here is a link that might be useful: my seedlings....See Morelook what showed up in my backyard!! (pic)
Comments (14)Yes, htown, I used a zoom. In fact, I had just gotten a new digital camera only the day before. I took this picture from inside my patio doors and the fox was only about 30 feet away. She didn't seem scared by people, either. She saw us and only looked away. There were children calling to it from the house behind, and the fox never flinched or even seemed scared. She seems fairly large for a red fox, too. I read where they can be about 15 lbs. and this one seems twice that size. (Basing on the fact that I have a cat about 15 lbs. !) I worry about all the wildlife around us losing their habitats. The last of the farmland here was just purchased for home-building. I live near a river where there used to a lot of farms, woods and wildlife, but is now becoming over-developed. The animals are being driven away by all the construction. The deer have no place to go anymore and are showing up on playgrounds. Do these developers ever take the wildlife into consideration when building these homes, or just see the dollar signs?...See MorePictures Not Showing up on Page
Comments (7)MaryAnn, Thanks for your response. This is my first rodeo and getting my page uploaded is giving me a whipping. Yes, I used your Netscape and find that it is very user friendly. But I used WS FTP to upload. I attempted to publish with Netscape, but nothing happened...machine just sat idle for 3 hours. Will try publishing with Netscape again if you think that will give me a better result. Things look good after I edit my page in c://; but when I upload the page into http//, my changes are not taking effect. (And, to make sure all the pix were uploaded, I copied the folder to the upload folder.) I would post a link, but the page is not nearly ready for the critics. It's just a little site with pictures of my family...just meant for keeping my family connected. Any help will be much appreciated. Patsy...See MoreNancy 6b
