Comments (3)It's a homeopathic derived from a species of the daisy plant.Used to prevent excessive bruising, bleeding, pain and trauma. Can be used topically or internally.I have heard of it but never used it so don't know if it works.I have read that what is sold OTC doesn't contain enough of the concentrate to be effective.Lots of pros and cons as with most other homeopathic remedies. It can be prescribed by a doctor but has to be monitored closely. Here is a link that might be useful: Arnica...See MoreHow to dissipate facial bruising quickly?
Comments (60)The staples and remaining stitches (some have already fallen out) will be removed tomorrow. I'll ask about makeup then. I went ahead and followed the suggestions above and ordered a slip on scarf cap to cover my forehead. The bruising under my eyes is a lot better tonight. The party is out of town next Saturday. I'm not sure about getting a pro to apply my makeup, I usually go very minimal with makeup and pros seem to want to make me look like someone that I don't recognize :-) I did get a couple of good concealers for the facial/undereye bruising. I had taken the dogs out for their 'last call' potties late last Monday evening and was looking the other way when my foot tangled with the patio chair. I grabbed the chair for support and it just flipped over and down I went. Hubby was in the house and would have come looking for me after a while. I was rather dazed after hitting my head, so just stayed on all fours for a bit until I felt safe to stand up and yell for him. In the ER, they questioned me quite a bit, I assume they thought that it was domestic violence. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015YEDFLW/ref=twister_B06VXDR1VC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1...See MoreFollow up on under eye wrinkles
Comments (25)When we were in Palm Springs last month, I got dragged into a salon, and a Brazilian woman put some under-eye gel on the bags under my eyes, and the bags went away completely. She used Venofye Royal Jelly Eye Beelift, and then tried to sell me a bottle of it for $300. I told her I thought that was too expensive, and so she went down to $200, which I still thought was expensive, but I had never had anything like this. The effects last for several days, and she told me to use it once a week, which I have started doing. I was shocked to see the $700 price on line, but I think you should be able to find it cheaper. Try to find a salon that can give you a free demonstration. I think this might be the same product for $120.00 from Amazon, but it looks slightly different, and the name is different....See MoreLooking for a bra without an underwire
Comments (43)For those of you who travel, the next time you're in France pick up some Arnigel. It is the most amazing stuff. I fell while hiking in France and cracked a rib and bruised my humerus and they gave me Arnigel (topical) and Arnicalme (pill) and the pain was gone in two days. Both are made with arnica. You can order Arnigel from amazon Canada in the US, but what you get in NA is made in Bulgaria, while what you buy in France is made in France, and personally I have more faith in QC in France. It's great stuff to keep on hand for any kind of bruise, small or serious....See Morejojoco
