Nope. They're installed just above the top one, but thinking about it, I don't see why they couldn't just be installed above the hinge that would be least in the way. I did learn that your doors must be heavy enough to push against the soft closer. I have a bunch of evidently, really (crappy) lighter doors, because they're not heavy enough to push against the closer! So. I took some 2.5"w x 1/4" thick craft wood and cut pieces to fit against the back panel's top and bottom. Glued 'em in and painted them to match. Voila! Done.

See if there isn't a local cabinet shop that has a hinge boring machine set up. They could probably drill the holes for concealed cup hinges and provide the hinges fairly reasonably.

Thank you all for your replies and suggestions, especially the reassurance that mixed finishes is not at all unheard of. I went to the store and purchased some Rub n Buff to test. I have never heard of this stuff! I also bought antique brass and bright brass hardware at Home Depot to try spray on, too. Once I showed it to my husband, he said that if we were going to take the time to hand apply the rub n buff wax paint that it might be better and less time consuming to just spray all the hinges instead. Then he spoke to a friend at work who used Rustoleum metallic spray for all his hardware and that it turned out great. I had mentioned spray painting before to him, but his reaction was that it would not work long term due to the movement of the hinges. From what I have also read online, if you do several light coats, followed by a clear sealer topcoat, the finish lasts a lot longer, so we may go this route in the end. We have decided we aren't going to rush this. We are going to consult with a carpenter to get a quote for new cab doors and drawer fronts just to see what it would cost for a new style. I'm suspecting it is more than we can spend right now. If it is, then I will spray paint or rub n buff the hinges so that they "hide" into the espresso stain finish and then decide what color knobs to buy. Then I will re-finish all the bright brass on interior doors, so I will be left with only two finishes around the house... I hope! Any non standard item you're inserting into a mfg process will have impact. They may not see it again this year. Maybe a few new tools/bits, stopping and resetting the fabrication and assembly line for this, restarting for any adds (always). Many shops would just say "no" or "I can't" as you are certainly weeding out the common skills, tools and capabilities. The more I think about these the more labor I see by several trades, installers, painters, etc. This is similar to how government specified products or projects get expensive... they up specify, often at the suggestion of a manufacturer or special interest, until competition falls away and bids get expensive. Happens all the time in the defense industry, school & public housing, all govt construction.
