Seeds from the Caribbean ID?
Comments (3)The first one was definitely Caesalpinia pulcherrima. Thanks a lot! And for the size, the top two are just about the size of a golf ball....See MoreA long cruise - Saint Martin
Comments (11)I just located another picture of our starting point, Great Bay. There are many shops and restaurants on Great Bay and it is a short walk from the ship's pier. We have done that before. We also took a ship's excursion where we took an America's Cup Challenge. With enough participants, two racing ships took to a course in a competition, with eager guests taking an active part in some of the 'work' on the sailing craft. It was a great day. Another time, we rented a jeep and drove around the island without a plan! That was fun, too!...See MoreCaribbean cruise shore excursions
Comments (4)We just got back from a lovely Caribbean cruise. Our last stop before we got back to New Orleans was Key West. DH and I just wandered around the shops dockside and it wasn't until I got back home that I was looking at some of the attractions there and discovered they have some beautiful museums and gardensbut you will need to find a tour or rent a car. Try "googling" Key West and you'll see for yourself. Key West was just gorgeous. The weather was balmy, the water so blue and so was the sky. You'll just love it....See MoreOur First Cruise - How Do we Carry Money
Comments (6)We have been on a couple cruises and each time DH carries his important items (id, cash, credit cards) in his front pants pocket. He usually takes the items out of his wallet if the wallet will be too bulky for the front of his shorts/pants. Being the mother and carrier of all things, I usually use a small purse that can carry the camera (unless we have the cam-corder in its case and then DH carries it), my identification, shopping needs (AKA money!), and of course a fresh water bottle for the thirsties. If you plan on doing some shopping and getting souveniers etc, maybe considering a backpack or one of those 'messenger bags' that you can wear across your body would work for you. While on vacation, we often carry a backpack with everything in it and just take turns carrying it. That way we can add to our bag when we pick things up along the way, whether they are sea shells or whatever. Bottom line, we make sure our money or wallets are not easily available to someone who may feel the need to try and scam us with pickpocketing or the bump-and-distract-while-the-other-person-robs-you-blind-scheme!...See Moreseagrass_gw Cape Cod
