And it works! Too bad that other loaf is kinda ugly. Granted this pic was taken pre buttah smear on top...Wish I could eat em. They smell divine....
I think the heart shape will come out better when I cut into it. Its cooling now so we shall see....

Comments (7)Oh thank you. Cabinets are oak with natural finish. Amish built. Most of the appliances are Frigidaire. I will put a link to more info. We are country folk. Plain and simple people. I bought my appliances early, when I didn't think I would be cooking much but I thought I might try to do better. So the stove, I just told him simple and inexpensive, so it is nothing fancy. The full size frig and freezer have been wonderful. I wanted everything for us on the first floor for our older years, and it just didn't make sense to go to another part of the house to get food out of the freezer. My sink, I love it. I know many ppl like a single sink, but every pan I have fits in one side, except for the griddle I use for pancakes, so that is no big deal. I don't mean all my pans fit all at one time ha :-) but every size fits inside of the sink :-) I love the coffee center. Ppl can come and get their coffee and creamer, etc. make coffee... and not get into the main flow of the kitchen. I was worried about having most of the major appliances lined up on the same wall, but with the island there and the sink not far, it all just works for me. It isn't high end or fancy, and will do a hi-res laminate for the countertops, but I have already put more money into this house than we will ever get back out of it. But I am very happy with all the choices that I made. My pocket office is right there, so it has more storage if ever I need it, and my mudroom/laundry room is just around the corner and I have another huge pantry type closet there, and I use the laundry room cabinets for all the "junk" that normally collects in the kitchen. So my kitchen is just for kitchen stuff. My pocket doors are 2 frosted french doors, so that it still allows for light to pass through even when closed. I see many beautiful kitchens on here, and sometimes I wonder if I should have made different choices .... but this one really fits us and it fits this house. Comments (12)Be extremely careful this is exactly how the horrible cryptolocker infection is being spread. If you click on the attachment it automatically installs to your pc it will appear nothing happens. But behind the scenes it begins encrypting all of your files then you are sent a notification from the hackers how much you have to pay for the key to decrypt your files. It's a very nasty infection. If you have not heard about it go Google cryptolocker infection and read up. This time of year a lot to of people are expecting packages so will be more likely to fall for this. I will never ever click on any type of link in an email you have no idea what it really is and what it will cause to happen. Remove to the junk mail folder. Comments (11)mamap, I can't remember which thread you were advising me to order Tide AF powder (I have the liquid), but I took advantage of the Amazon coupon and bought a box. I think you are right about saving it for sheets. The liquid leaves a moderate scent even after a second rinse, but the sheets are soft... I did use STPP, so maybe I need to decrease the amount of detergent I use (I use about 1.25 oz. on a standard large load). I don't remember the smell of the original Tide and AF anymore, but the new scent is pleasant and reminds me of the fresh smells of 1980's detergents. Comments (24)vgkg - yep, I've seen similar here. Aldi has raised their Sea Scallops twice in the last few months. They had been $9.99 for 12 oz. back in the early spring and then went up to $11.99 around May and just went up again to $13.99. Still a lot cheaper than the price you are seeing. I haven't seen snow crab for $5/lb here for over a decade. They have been in the mid teens per pound since pre-covid with an occasional sale around $10. Now I don't even bother to look at them. I am low carbing....and torturing myself. I made the heart shaped one for SO....cause I LOVE him. The other one...I dont know what will become of it. Freezer maybe. I dont like anyone enough to give them my homemade bread.
