I never open something like that, but do go the actual site then check it out. DH use to get notices from them, and several others all the time and he never opened them. Always went to the site and signed in. There is alot of stuff going around and you are just lucky you did not get a virus. But you did indicate to whoever sent it that it is a valid email address, so be prepared for more to come. That is the dangerous part.

I got that one too, but my mail service had marked it as SPAM.. plus I order lots from Amazon and never have ever got a attachment in an email.. so I would not have opened it.

The incorrect use of the word 'Well' was a tip-off too.

I got one of those a couple weeks ago and did not open it. You have to be so suspicious all the time.

Be extremely careful this is exactly how the horrible cryptolocker infection is being spread. If you click on the attachment it automatically installs to your pc it will appear nothing happens. But behind the scenes it begins encrypting all of your files then you are sent a notification from the hackers how much you have to pay for the key to decrypt your files. It's a very nasty infection. If you have not heard about it go Google cryptolocker infection and read up.
This time of year a lot to of people are expecting packages so will be more likely to fall for this. I will never ever click on any type of link in an email you have no idea what it really is and what it will cause to happen.
Remove to the junk mail folder.

I had one from Walmart that told me they could not ship my package because the address was incorrect. I had not purchased anything from them so I just deleted it.

I guess that was spam too.

I got one from CostCo, just like Mary3444~~I did not open it, but the subject lead me to believe it was a scam to get my info~~I did not order anything from there WTH???

I also got one a week or so ago, i just delete it ASAP

NEVER open such an obvious fake.

Look first at who it's addressed to. If your
full name is not in the email...it's a fraud.

I got one today from Gmail wanting me to verify my info or risk denial of service...I hit the spam button quickly!!!

I received the same one that Mary3444 did from Walmart. It was addressed to sir/madam and had punctuation errors. I delete everything immediately.

I never open anything from anyone through an e-mail link unless I personally know the sender.

If I get something like this from Amazon, Costco, Walmart etc I go directly to the website and check my account to see if anything has been ordered that I'm unaware of. And if I don't have an account with them, I KNOW it's spam.
