New kitchen flooring

I had Armstrong No-Wax vinyl sheet flooring installed in my little kitchen in 1979. (I have a 1935 bungalow.) After 40 years the floor really needs replacing. I want to tear up the old vinyl because it looks pretty grungy around the edges. (There is a plywood subfloor.) Do you know if Armstrong or Congoleum vinyl flooring is better? Is there another brand I should consider?

I have hardwood floors so I don’t want a hardwood pattern in the kitchen. Everything else looks like stone or tile now.
