Comments (6)I had a site marked with a stained glass tree made from glass scraps. The trunk was a metal pipe and had probably 100+ flexible wires coming from it. Attached to the ends of the wires was a piece of stained glass in all shapes, they had the metal stripping around each piece. It was so neat. My puter crashed and I lost all my favorites. I found it on this site, but can't find it in the search. That would be a really neat thing to do with the scraps if anyone has the link. Sharon...See MoreSad loss of a friend
Comments (15)I am sorry for your and their loss. It helps to remind us of how fragile life is. Its so easy to forget sometimes. Pray that helps so much. I would be lost without my DH as well we have been together for 13 years and Im only 30 so that will tell you Most of my life has been with him. DH can be annoying but so can I and I was taught from a young age never go to bed angry and we live by that. I get nervous if we have an unsettled matter for longer than a few hours. My husband has a very dangerous job, he is a tree trimmer around the power lines and his brother was almost killed 2 years ago doing the same thing so I always keep petty things in their place. I hope his wife is able to handle things. Keep in mind a good friend and a nice bowl of soup can go a long ways. I know I would feel so alone but the small things would never be forgotten. I am sure you are a great friend and are doing your best....See MoreLA seller 'Irene'..... great lady and friend!

Comments (5)I agree with Carol. When you are grieving support from everyone is appreciated, you cannot get too much. Do you have any photos of your friend that maybe her family haven't seen? I'm sure if you copied them and sent them they would appreciate it. I did that for a friend of mine who lost her husband when her children were little but I didn't think about it until they were grown and they loved them especially the ones I had of them as babies with their father. Do everything you can for the family, I'm sure it will be welcome....See More- 4 years agolast modified: 4 years agoravencajun Zone 8b TX thanked morz8 - Washington Coast
