OK to use Base Cabinet Wire Basket Pullout for Wall Cabinet?

I need easier access to cleaning supplies/laundry detergent type items stored on the bottom shelf of Laundry Room cabinets that will be mounted above the washer/dryer at about a 60" height. Since the appliances extend to about 34" away from the wall I'm ordering at least a 21" depth cabinet, however, I will still have trouble reaching items. A simple solution would be to install a Rev-A-Shelf or other brand wire basket pullout. These are marketed as Base cabinet pullouts. The only reason I can think of that they would not work for a wall cabinet is if the screws would penetrate the 3/8" cabinet bottom and therefore be exposed. Can't reach Rev-A- Shelf today to ask. Anyone know if the screws would penetrate the bottom or any reason this would not work?
