Need Help Finding Living Room Paint Color
Comments (3)I ditto what olympiceagle said. I'd kill my husband if I came home to find my home painted in a color that I didn't have a hand in choosing! So unless you know your wife really well and know that she doesn't care much about the wall color, etc., I wouldn't surprise her quite like that--especially if interior design isn't your forte. What about a "coupon" for a paint job? I didn't know how hard it was to choose a color until we finished our basement and had to choose colors.....went through $200 worth of paint samples before we found something that looked good and that we liked. Funny how a small paint chip can look so good and be the "perfect color"/what you're looking for, etc., yet once you put it on the wall, it becomes something totally different. Good luck....See MoreNeed HELP choosing Living Room Paint Color
Comments (17)browngr: First, congrats on your first home purchase! Here are instructions for using photobucket (it's free). Once you have your photos stored online somewhere, then you can share them here ;) Go to www.photobucket.com Sign up for a free account Upload the photos from your computer into photobucket, here's a step by step tutorial with screen shots. Once you get your photos into photobucket, you can share here using several methods. Easiest is either post the link to your album ~or~ you can copy and paste the "HTML tag" line located below the photo into a post here. Here's a step by step guide that shows you where the HTML tag is (see item 3 in screen shots). That method will insert the photo directly into your post so we see the picture rather than a link to it. Here is Garden Web's Test Forum, where you can play around with it till you get the hang of it ;)...See MoreNeed Help with Living Room Paint Color

Comments (0)I painted my kitchen and dining room Storm - BM and my den/entrance/hallway/staircase Barren Plain - BM. I would like suggestions for my living room. I was going to paint it Coventry gray. Will that be too much gray? I am now thinking maybe a blue or a teal. Any suggestions on the front door color would be appreciated. There are 2 skylights in the living room so it can handle a darker color....See MoreLynn N
