Just too many changes! Do any of you get burned out on MG???
Comments (12)Like pontyrogof I read this with interest because I'm thinking about getting back into the MG curriculum and I have experienced various behaviors and attitudes and procedures over the years. I guess I'll have to see for myself about our program here to make up my mind. I confess, I'm already starting out with a bit of a thud; I took the course many years ago and before I could do the hours I became ill for a long time. I approached one of the agents a few years ago about how to handle this (did I need to take the course again, just start hours, etc) and... he never got back to me. Fired off an email to our MG coordinator (figured the agent probably would have had to go there himself) a few days ago... and haven't heard back. Now, the coordinator is probably very busy so I may be jumping the gun. It would have been nice to get an 'I'll look into that' response at least, though. Hoping for a good outcome, Ging...See MoreChanging email accounts makes them scroll by too fast
Comments (4)I have five accounts tagged together with the Hotmail feature offered. There is no setting at Hotmail to remedy your concern. I can only offer that you have to be sure the Hotmail page is fully loaded, and have you tried being certain to keeping the cursor in the drop down box under your alias? If the cursor does come out, which I seem to do too often, weird things do happen....See Moredo you have a 'body pillow'?
Comments (15)DH bought me one when I was pregnant and I've used one ever since - going on 9 years now. Mine is just a cheapy one from WalMart, and I've only replace it twice so far, though the current one is beginning to show it's age. I've bought two covers, so I can have one on the pillow and one in the wash/linen cupboard. I have problems with my lower back, hips and knees and I can't sleep without my body pillow. DH isn't cooperative enough in his sleep to take the body pillow's place entirely. He wants to be able to roll over and move around at night without having to wake us both up completely to do it. Silly man....See MoreEvery able-bodied (able-minded?) senior should have ...
Comments (19)My son, the smartest of us three "boys", who wanted no more schooling after H.S., just retired from farming. His son is a teacher, into music, has made his own CD. Brother won't have anything to do with a computer. Actually - if I were going to write him the stuff we talk about in a 20 min. conversation on the phone - it'd take a week. And no instant feed-back. Though I send and receive emails (as far as receiving - like thousands in a month!) I don't do banking online. No one gets my credit card number online, either. Nor do I buy and sell stocks online - (actually, I hardly ever sell 'em). Actually - don't write a lot of cheques, either - giving them to strangers is a risky business, as well. Most of my business is small - and local - so I do it in cash. Haven't got held up, yet. Actually, sometimes I've hitchhiked substantial distances, in which case I have usually distributed some cash in about half a dozen locations on my body - including under an unnecessary bandage on my arm. Lived for several years in south Korea just after that devastating war when there were many desparate people around. Actually, last Saturday was the 55th anniversary of the start of that horrible war. War is hell - as the U.S. will continue to learn for a few years in Iraq. Have a great week - and summer, all. ole joyful...See Moremaifleur01
