I can't tell you either without something visual. I'd recommend you get some brown paper, cut out templates to the sizes you want to try, pin them up and then you can get a better idea of which one would look better. Cut out templates for the sconce height also.

Hi and thanks again for posting. I found my old post (which I should have done in the first place, to find the exact dimensions! Duh) and your reply. Sorry, but we moved out for a bit to avoid the messiest part of the renovations and I'm thoroughly disorganised now. None of the things i mentioned (sink, mirror,vanity, sconce) are installed which makes it harder to see how things would look. This morning I marked the wall with painters tape with the various dimensions and am hoping that this will help me get a better sense of which mirror and sconce to go for. I think the 13" sconce will work best for the space but need to decide on the mirror. The bathroom is small (ceiling height is 7' 11"; space is 5' 7" x 6' 2". The sink/mirror will sit on the wider wall. I think the 12" mirror might be better now that I've marked it out, but am still considering the 17" (actually it is 17 11/16"!!!! Math and precision are obviously not my forte!) since a bigger mirror is always nice...but of course don't want it overwhelm everything else, as Patricia said) Thanks everyone, for bearing with me and my questions! Back to two mirrors. One over each sink. The vanity is 60". From the left edge there is 3 1/2" to an 18 1/2" sink; 15 1/2 " counter to another 18 1/2" sink and then 3 1/2" to the right edge. The length of wall that is available is 66". Do you think it is possible to use three sconces mounted to the outside of each mirror and one in the middle? I know it is tight for the left side sconce. What do you think? Or am I better off putting a light bar over each mirror? I will have a light in the tub and one over the toilet. The bathroom is 8 1/2 x 8. I read that lights in the ceiling over mirrors cast bad shadows and should be avoided. Yes or no? Thanks!

As pretty as those sconces are in the picture posted by mayflowers, I'm afraid in your case they really will not work. Because your junction box is already 75" from the floor, the sconces pictured above would extend what appears to be almost another 12" above that, which would put them way too high, IMO. Did you have anything in mind for a sconce when the boxes were placed at the height they are?
