Tulip taken yesterday evening......no editing

Oh! I'm going to try that with hubby's picture of him at last year's Luncheon. It's rather dark/dim and not crisp.

After: and... In order to light up the tractor, DH shone a flashlight on it in the 2nd pic for 5 seconds, 30 sec exposure....(not the same photo, the milky way is more to the left of the power line)....same idea....

My tablet has it's own editing feature. When using my laptop, I like befunky.com; they have a free version, or for more bells and whistles, one can upgrade to a pay version that offers additional editing options. With befunky, I can edit and do fun things like make collages. I use the collage feature to make postcards when we are traveling.

I'm on my way out the door and will be gone all day, so don't have time to find and post a before and after. Maybe later depending on what time I get back if it's not too late.

I manipulate almost all my pictures. Straighten, crop, and sometimes brightness. here, I cropped.

I have been using Macs since 1984. I love them. I currently have a MacBook Air that I just got in March. My MacBook before that was 10 years old when I finally decided to get a new one.

I also love million bells and this is a cropped picture of my favorite, called Lemon Slice.

Between my hand weakness and essential tremor, and a less than top of the line camera, I am not achieving good sharp pictures anymore. I can edit for somewhat better pics, although I wish I could do better.

Levels adjusted, seam in leg of character on the left removed, as well as the supporting metal bar, using rubber stamp and healing tools.

This was taken with a very old camera that I bought in 2001. Later cameras that I bought automatically correct for lighting, and so less editing is necessary, but the rubber stamp and healing tools are still very useful.

This was done on PC. I used a Mac only briefly in 1988 and hated it, but it was what my design partner at the time had. I've avoided all Mac and Apple products ever since. In the early 1990s I taught myself how to edit dBase programs on PC (using DOS, before Windows was released), and I would not have been able to do that on a Mac. Mac used to be better for video and sound editing, but PCs have caught up.

Tough day for you Raven, very sad. It’s a terrible loss for you. What a beautiful arrangement of flowers and her artwork. She was very talented.
