Photo taken April 2, 2006 with Sony Cybershot, f/4.0, ISO 400, focal length 9.7mm, tungsten incandescent lighting After:Levels adjusted, seam in leg of character on the left removed, as well as the supporting metal bar, using rubber stamp and healing tools. This was taken with a very old camera that I bought in 2001. Later cameras that I bought automatically correct for lighting, and so less editing is necessary, but the rubber stamp and healing tools are still very useful. This was done on PC. I used a Mac only briefly in 1988 and hated it, but it was what my design partner at the time had. I've avoided all Mac and Apple products ever since. In the early 1990s I taught myself how to edit dBase programs on PC (using DOS, before Windows was released), and I would not have been able to do that on a Mac. Mac used to be better for video and sound editing, but PCs have caught up. It's a cigarette lighter from a really old car. I had to remove it so I could use the "outlet" to pump up a completely flat tire. In the rain. Son has Doc today, so I'm driving Cari
5 years agoOn Mackinac Island. My trip was last year, and so my pictures are digital, unlike many of my travel photos.
5 years agolast modified: 5 years agoUsed to live in Michigan, but that was before digital. This Henry Ford Museum pic is from a visit in 2013. The Museum and Greenfield Village are well worth a 2 day visit.
5 years agoI haven't been to Michigan in many years. I do have fond memories of time spent there though and it would be fun to go back.
Mine is a very cute mitten that was dropped at the Farmers Market on Thursday. I put the picture on a Facebook page, hoping for a reunion. No response just yet.
