Sorry I haven't posted but....
Comments (11)Good luck to you. Our holidays were bittersweet, too. DS#1 got married this year to a real nice girl, so we had her with us this Christmas. However, DS#2 got divorced so that was hard. He has a 3-year-old son so we had to deal with sharing him for the holidays. We had to have our Christmas AFTER December 25. That was a bit difficult for us, but it will get better, we hope. I read somewhere that a mother can only be as happy as her UNhappiest child. That may be true....See MoreOkay I still haven't finished
Comments (4)Okay, this makes it easier to think about what to do. Have you thought about an umbrella stand or coat rack, something typical of an entry way? A larger floral arrangement would work too. Maybe some books stacked with a figurine on them. As for on the wall I'd think framed art would look nice unless you use this door often and like that last glance before you leave or open the door to guests/delivery men....See Moreall of a sudden, I think I made a HUGE mistake
Comments (19)It's all fun and games until somebody loses their mind...then it's a remodel! ::grin:: Mine occured with a sudden obsession that the fridge would be too wide and the door would bump the breakfast bar. Next time I will panic equally in all directions! HAH!) Even with that little mishap I love my kitchen. I completely understand your worry, but I hope it helps to know we have all been there, and you will live through it. Now is the time for the glass of wine/margarita/cup of sleepytime tea and a breather. DH has lost all voting rights due to a late ballot submission. Call your KD tomorrow and talk with him/her, then make a decision. Good luck, and keep us posted! Emmie...See MoreHELP PLEASE!!!! I think I made a mistake
Comments (15)Happy New Year! I hope everyone enjoyed the holidays. I did...LOL So here's the update. Far now, I'm not going to paint the trim/door, or game room entrance until I finished painting. I like the idea of painting the trim and wall the same color. Thoughts? The ceilings are currently being painted Sherwin Williams Highly Reflective white. Any suggestions on a neutral paint color? (something to flow with this granite color below). I'm going to paint the main living area of the house including the kitchen the same color. I took this at night close up of granite The white is the granite...See MoreUser
