In a mini-mall in Buenos Aires

Jim I saw the same in Bulgaria... can't think of the name of the town however...

We live on a river. Sometimes almost IN the river. It is almost back to normal. It has been cloudy and dreary for the last few days, but last night the sun popped out for about 5 minutes.

A visitor to our Farmers Market a couple of weeks ago.

Rosie the alpaca. Her crazy hair pattern is because she had just been shorn.

In memoriam:

The birds loved this lavender twist redbud--they would fly onto it with enough force to ride the swing. Two mourning doves would make for a funny, wild ride! It is the favored perch before the feeder drop. It died, with barely a whimper of flowers this spring. It was so healthy, I was unaware it had became ill sometime since dropping leaves last year. I'm at a loss what to replace it with, that would bring the birds and us as much entertainment, and serve as such a nice perch.

gyr_falcon - sorry to hear about your tree. The birds here like my small crepe myrtle, maybe because I use to have my bird feeder there. Love your big clump of Peruvian lily plants (Alstroemeria). I have that color too along two shades of pink.

Thank you, caflowerlover. Even though I'm a quick plant yanker, certain plants just hurt when they go. I love alstroemerias, and they grow well in our sandy soil and climate. There are various colors spread about the garden; the yellow gold one in the front is one of our favorites.

arcy - I'm at a loss - what are they doing?

Look in the air you can just barely see a couple of the sails in the air. Kite boarding.

Not my photo!
