Planting 2 Clematis in the same pot, container gardening

Hello, I want to plant 2 clematis vines in the same container. The container I have is 20" across and 30" deep. I was planning on planting the clematis at the furthest corners of the pot and possibly separating the pot with a plastic board so the roots still have their own space. Has anyone had much luck with planting 2 clematis in the same pot? Will the container size I have be big enough for 2 to share? Let me know what your experience is with mixing clematis in the same pot, and if you have any photos of the ones you've combined I'd love to see :)
