Come one, come all to the 2019 Chicagoland Plant Swap

Saturday, May 18, 2019, 3 - 6 PM, Unitarian Church of Evanston, 1330 N. Ridge Avenue, Evanston

Newbies and seasoned gardeners welcome!

For people who have been to the swap, please note the change in day and time.

For newbies - we are borrowing the Evanston Unitarian Church parking lot for Saturday, May 18, 3 - 6 PM.

Please note that this is not a one for one swap, but a community sharing event. No money is involved.

Bring what you have to share:

plants, seedlings, divisions, houseplants, perennials, bulbs, veggies, pots, soil and garden items, books, seeds, recipes, or bring snacks, food or drinks.

And take whatever you want to grow.

Separate tables for annuals, perennials, sun, shade, veggies, garden items/books , snacks and refreshment are provided.

Do not worry if you have nothing to bring, we all started somewhere, bring a plate of cookies if you wish...

If you ask for plants but can not make it to the swap, please let someone know so we will move what was brought for you for the general area or we can work out something with you.

Ever since Ellen spearheded this event 12+ years ago, it has brought friends, neighbors and strangers together to share our joy and passion in gardening. We would like to continue to spread the joy again and again.
