Comments (6)Vinyl siding can be installed with details that help to conceal the fact that it is vinyl siding. Unfortunately there is a limited color pallet selection that varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. Hardie and Boral is much like building with wood without the splinters. Boral I have not yet used but it intrigues me. I am recommending Boral to a client I have in renovating the exterior of their 1938 Art Deco cottage (it is pink, has been pink, and always will be pink; it is very pink). Comments (7)Well, we still have the ugly yellow/tan siding.. can't justify the price to replace siding. We changed the railings to white with black down rods, put up all new white lattice and changed the shutters to a dove grey which is actually a smoky dark blue. It made a big difference. Comments (2)Friends have the Charcoal Gray on a West facing wall. They have had to have it replaced as it faded within the first year. Has done so again, so they are painting that wall. I'd be tempted to with light on the color....See More- PRO
