Comments (21)Kitchen this morning. Almost done. They were supposed to be done Friday but didn't finish. Some flooring, baseboard, quarter round, lights and fixing my faucet. After they installed it, it leaked. The faucet is a year or two old so was a little irritated. Went to Lowes and bought a new cartridge for the handle where it's leaking from. So, still no water. Spent yesterday measuring and putting in liners in the cabinets/drawers. Today will finish and try and cut and glue on the bottom peice to the fridge. 7 years agoold Guiness kegs in the Storehouse in Dublin. I don't like most beers but I do like the occasional Guiness. Many assume it's heavy and thick because of it's dark color but it is fairly light-bodied with a low alcohol percentage.

7 years agolast modified: 7 years agoAhhhhhhh, beer. We love to check out small craft breweries and/or the local brews when traveling.
Sometimes a person improvises with what they have on hand. These roses were strewn on the bed in our Hanoi hotel room. I didn't want to throw them out and the only vase I had was this beer can. The beautiful roses stayed fresh for a week.
I have a bunch more beer photos, but dont want to be a photo hog, so will save them for another day. :-)
7 years agoI come from a long line of beer drinkers. I like the occasional beer and Cincinnati is certainly known for it's many breweries in the past and we are currently enjoying a very successful influx of new small breweries. These two pictures are from the American Sign Museum here in Cincinnati. A very neat place to visit.

I'm not a beer lover but hubby likes one on occasion. I hear it goes really well with crawfish! I saw a lot of beer drinking going on with the crawfish eating. They were awesome!

7 years agoIn 1979 DH made his own beer. It was cheaper than buying. He won several state and national ribbons. Hard to believe he was 27 at the time and had a Masters in EE. He looks so young. He called it C & G Porter. I designed the label and that was before computer art.

I don't normally drink beer, but I do when on vacation. Here's what we had in Fiji
DB is in the background, and this photo was taken on my birthday 2018. In Mexico, it is safer to drink beer than water (except for bottled water) or drinks that have ice.
Caflowerluver, your DH looks like he's about twelve in those photos!
