Just some of the landscaping we've had done in the back. Always on the lookout for rain as they planted 240 plants in total ... that's a lot of watering! Much prefer Mother Nature to handle it for us.

Comments (39)Alisande - I probably never mentioned it. We had it for 5 years and loved it - except for the occasional rain leak that soaked the carpet on the driver's side. It took months and multiple trips to the dealer to solve that one - they assumed it was the ragtop but something was clogged in the cowl. I found this photo on Wikimedia - This isn't my car but it's similar - white with red interior. In 1978 I brought my firstborn home from the hospital in that car - and the next day the first of 4 consecutive station wagons was delivered. Comments (16)Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace That’s the carriage that was in the coronation yesterday. I visited there to see the stables but was very surprised to find out that it not only stabled the horses but also housed the carriages and automobiles. It was the family garage! When we were there, they were working on bomb proofing some of the horses. (LOL, those pictured were very bomb proof as they are not real and those are mannequins? on them. 3 years agoFawn born on our property last week. DH happened to see it with the mama right after birth. Then a few minutes later the doe came out alone. He traipsed through the woods looking for the fawn and found where she stashed it.

Yesterday we had torrential rain and the sun shone through it all. Here is the resulting rainbow, over a neighbors house.

Ryan Villiers, an Edmonton-area artist made sure the statue matched Stallone’s dimensions–down to the circumference of his biceps.“He took the challenge on and he delivered in a big way. Apparently Sylvester Stallone got wind of it and Ryan wanted his blessing before the carving was put up,” McKinney says.
“He said ‘Well I like it, I only have one question: How tall is it?”
The statue itself stands 5’10” — Stallone’s height. But a pedestal provides a boost so it stands at 6’3″.

I took over 150 photos and whittled them down to 95 to make a slideshow for our lobby. It was really cute, and not too disgusting either 😀
