Chamblees Rose Order
Comments (5)Your going to be real happy. Chamblees has just, this season, become my favorite Rose Company. Nice healthy Plants and larger than any of the other 8 Rose Companies I've ordered from in the past. I ordered a Carefree Wonder Three years ago and then realized at the time I didn't have the space in my Garden so, I gave it away to a non Gardening Friend. She just raves about it every time I see her. It really is a nice performer. I hope I hear the same thing about the new Golden Celebration I gave her this year. Happy growing, Dan...See MoreSending Roses From TX to my home
Comments (6)I agree, they are from either Chamblee's or ARE but I purchased them at Chambersville Tree Farm. I'm planting them in my daughter's yard after figuring out it is far easier to order them again and have ARE and Chamblee's ship them. Prepping the two I did took forever, cutting off every leaf and dead bit and washing the roots and soaking them in a weakk clorox solution. Now they are all sanitary for my daughter's yard here. They are just too big to ship and I don't want to cut off these nice big bushes. I looked into having them inspected but with the holiday coming up we are getting too busy. Easier and safer to leave them here. At least I got to see them in person and smell and touch and decide I really like these roses before I order :). Next time I will go to Chamblee's to look and have them ship them directly....See MoreIs it Perle d'Or rose?
Comments (15)ChIming in from Texas, that looks like my PdO when the weather is cooler, and yes we do have cool weather here, it's not hot all of the time. When the weather warms up my PdO is more of a apricot color and is never orange and looks like the pictures above. I would say you have the correct rose. It has been one of my best roses too, never has any BS and is always in bloom. Mine is going on it's 4th year and has grown as tall as up to my shoulders. I think you will really like this rose....See MoreBugs in Chamblee's soil, what are those?
Comments (54)I'm glad for everyone! Going by the most recent communications sent to you Chamblee's customers from them regarding the mite outbreak, I have to say my faith has been restored in their rose nursery. My patronage of Chamblee's has gone back about 20 years. It has shown to be a more than satisfactory mail order nursery....excellent quality roses, prices that can't be beat, and friendly Texas folks in charge. I am relieved to know that they are indeed the responsible folks I believed them to be. Moses...See MoreR pnwz8a
