Help with topiaries, real or fake??!
Comments (1)Deep shade - I wouldn't recommend boxwood. Frankly, most topiaries are sun lovers. On the otherhand I personally don't like fake plants because it eventually starts to look really fake (thinking of pink flamingos/front yard look). An option, while it's not a true tree topiary, is to get black, wrought iron topiary frame in which you can grow plants on. You can grow certain types of shade plants on it like ivies or creeping jenny, etc.....See MoreHelp with entryway rug
Comments (28)Marcolo, I just had to find her craft room post to see. It's not the same fabric. But it's pretty close! In retrospect, I was sorry I chose the bird fabric because when I went to find wallpaper for the powder room off the entry, I fell in love with a bird pattern. I had to pass it by, though, lest my house start to resemble an aviary....See MoreNeed help with a small entry way. Need help with small entry way
Comments (7)I don't mind the table and mirror and can't really think of anything besides art that would fit on that wall. Can't see the table details well but could it be painted? How about red to match your lovely door? What would say "fresh and cozy" to you for that space? Have you thought of a new light fixture? A runner and a larger rug in the entrance could look good. I don't find the clock visible from the door to be welcoming so I'd be tempted to remove it....See MoreHELP!!! Art work placement plus Entryway console
Comments (33)I have no help to add about the art but I do love the colorful rug @celery showed I the last post. Something dramatic with that gorgeous green in it will tie the room together. Your dining table is stunning! And the green chairs are a happy surprise ( most dining rooms have all chairs the same)....See MoreJen Hans
