Your ideas are perfect and will definitely add curb appeal. Dark blue grey with a white trim will look smart and a few more details like the foundation slats suggested above is a great consideration depending on the landscaping. Also a simple straight awning along the porch and matching awnings on the second floor give this sweet curb appeal. Looks like boxwood along the foundation. #2 Note the heavier white railing and tapered square columns. You may want to consider doing a heavier trim around the windows and door. #3 Cute idea with a curved trim around porch and shutters on the second floor windows only. #4 Note the very interesting decoration at the peak of the house and with a paint color change! #5 Again note this interesting decoration at the peak. It doesn't have to be a window at the peak, it can be a louvre oval painted the same as the trim. This shows how nice a heavy trim around the windows and doors look. Don't forget the most important focus is your front door. It should be important and welcoming. I love all the moulding around the front door. #6 Again heavy white trim, square tapered columns, white stair. Love the hydrangeas! #7 Beautiful inspiration #8 Note the double round columns. I tried to find a better pic, but if you can imagine, the top part of the peak is scalloped shingles.

The color is a custom mix. I always loved the color of a certain house in a nearby neighborhood, so when I saw the owner working in the yard I stopped and asked her about the color. She said it was a custom mix from the previous owner, and sent me to the local paint shop where they had the color on file. If I can find a can with the details, I'll post a pic. It's the perfect greige. Not too gray, not too beige, and it looks great in all lighting.

@jkissiah - Confession - I am using Microsoft Excel and the Windows Snipping tool to do the mockup - Most people have the same tools and can just cut and paste to make this type of "Mock Up". I just play with some of these tools more than some others due to my work. Color changes I did using SW Color Snap Visualizer. I don't know that I like the idea of a pergola, I would want the front look to continue across the front of the home, but I would consider sky lights over each window. I did simply show you what it would look like if it continued. I like it, but I agree with katinparadise - you have a pretty house and you have to know what the improvement would bring to your family and if it is worth the investment. Without doing anything else, I think you could improve the look with a little paint. I feel like the white is very bright in comparison to the stone. I don't think I would go gray - the roof is already gray and looking at the updated picture of the shutters - they are also more gray than blue. I think adding more gray will become a gray blob. However adding a creamy color will help blend the stone and the siding. I would keep the bright white windows and trim.

You have a lovely property! I don’t think it would take much to ramp up the curb appeal. Go for a dark charcoal roof and keep the siding as is. I love the idea of a sheltered front entry (your guests will love it too on a rainy day) and you’ve got plenty of room to add a roof or portico. The part of your house that juts out a little and includes your front door, I would remove the siding and add a beautiful stone laminate to that whole area, ground to roof. Choose a grey stone in a tone that is halfway between the dark charcoal roof and the lighter siding. I would build a large garden on the garage wall that contains at least one big tree. That would give that wall some interest. Rebuild the sidewalk around this garden and build more into your yard rather than close to the house. You have a large property and your existing sidewalk looks odd so close to the house. Make sure sidewalk is wide enough so that 2 people can comfortably walk side by side, at least 5 feet wide. Add more landscaping with tall plantings to balance the height of your house. Good luck. You’ve got great bones here.
