Apparently somebody sent you some spam about 70 years ago and it took a long time to get there. Or maybe those emails are from the future and they're hot stock tips. Actually, they're being sent from some server that has its date set incorrectly, so it is putting an incorrect timestamp on the email it is sending out. It may be inadvertent, or it may be a way to try to get the spam to stand out.

Hi, All, I just found a bunch of important PM from the Houzz forum in my email spam folder. For some reason, I could not read them on my Houzz home page, but when I retrieved them from my email spam folder and sent them to my mail, then opened them, I found them. So perhaps if you PM anyone, do let them know on the regular thread so they will know to check their email including the spam folder. This started to happen this week. Fortunately, I often go through my spam folder before it gets deleted without my seeing it. Joanne

Gmail is also very good at identifying possible spam and sending it to the spam folder. I think my hotmail/outlook is too but I don't use it as much. I gotten the "I've hacked your computer and your webcam and will embarrass you if you don't pay" scams too. But I have no webcam, and haven't done anything too embarrassing in the last twenty years or so anyway... so.. have at it. Delete Forever... and forget. I usually don't get much spam, possibly less since the pandemic. Maybe more OS updates though. Folks maintaining my OS seem to have more free time to code. :-)

Susan, if your email carrier has Houzz marked as SPAM then you won't get anything from HOUZZ, including anything that goes thru their server.... like your seed requests. Have you check your carrier? I know I was surprised to find that mine was just throwing mail away with out notifying me. I changed that so they hold them for me to look at and dicard. I check everyday to see what they've decide is SPAM and there is alwys at least one thing that isn't.
