white kitchen backsplash help

I am trying to decide on both my backsplash and hardware to finish my kitchen. My options are between a few things.
Backsplash: white glass subway tile or ceramic and then thinking of doing a dark grout.
Hardware: thinking if do dark grout i will have to do black but was considering gold.
My worries are if i do a white subway ceramic with a light grout the entire kitchen will be too white. But i also don’t want something that doesn’t go well together.
What would be my best option??
Attached are some pictures of my kitchen currently (back panel to be put on today). Also- i am planning on doing the backsplash up to the ceiling On both sides at the peninsula and on the left small area next to my pantry.

Need help finding a non-white backsplash for a White kitchen
Comments (9)My first project with glass tile involved my removing two columns of mortared mosaic glass squares because I didn't like the angle of my tile cuts. In the process of pulling it down I cut myself (no big surprise). What was a bit of a surprise was the surgery I needed two months later to remove a shard of glass lodged on the tendon of the middle finger of my right hand. It could have severed that tendon at any time, which would, of course, have been disastrous. He needs a wet saw, a diamond blade for it, personal protective equipment (I wore goggles, boots, gloves, but my gloves weren't leather) and health insurance! Regarding the tile, seeing all the samples together, Tusk has the right undertones, and would be my choice. You can choose anything you like, of course, but I don't think Gardenia is the right one. I am partial to the glazed thin brick and show it below in Alcatraz and Glacier. I totally get it if you feel you already have enough brick! 5 years agoThank you so much for the ideas so far! My tiler told me to get bullnose tile for the edges. Not sure the other options. My countertop is a 3 cm quartz Statuario Maximus. Here are two closer pictures of the counter and then two inspiration kitchens I’ve seen online when trying to decide about the tile.

5 years agoA Schulter edge would be another option. Some people don't like them on here, but they provide a nice clean edge. They come is all types of finishes, colors & profiles.
