I have worked in the hardwood flooring industry for 23 years, and we don't recommend using vinegar or soap to clean a hardwood floor. Just as we NEVER recommend using Murphy's Oil soap (it actually attracts dirt to the surface due to the oil) Woodwise is an excellent cleaner, leaves no residue or streaking and if mixed correctly and used correctly will last quite a long time. I clean the flooring samples in our showroom - hardwood, laminate and vinyl with Woodwise as well as our hardwood flooring in our offices. I also use it on my floors at home and have done so for the past 23 years. I would never use anything else

We purchased a Jetton sofa and loveseat a couple of years ago (after I read John's recommendation). Overall we have been pleased but the pieces required rework for (1)a small bulge in the fabric on the lovesear due to a poor trim job - done on site (2)two pieces of fabric used for the rear of the sofa which resulted in a pattern mismatch - factory finally replaced with a single swatch (3) a noticeable gather on one sofa back due to tension in the fabric - this required two trips to the factory to fix. It took 3 trips back to fix because both the dealer and the manufacturer did not fully inspect the pieces before sending them back. I had to finally talk to the owner(s) and to their credit they did address my problems. I like the construction techniques used. One curious fact is that the dealer did not advertise the brand in their store. Although the wood furniture had the brand name prominently displayed, for the Jetton line, you didn't find out who made them till you asked. (I had owned Jetton before)

Hoboken--Conditioner in the face doesn't sound very good. I agree that '12 seemed like a rough year for many. I cannot even begin to imagine what the parents of the Sandy Hook children are feeling. Kellienoelle--I would have loved a bath, but the kids' tub is small and not very comfortable and my giant soaking tub in the new master bath still isn't hooked to water. Having a child diagnosed with cancer has to be extremely frightening. Those types of horrible events are not supposed to happen. Does your DS2 need any other treatment for his cancer after the surgery and positive CAT scan results? I'm sending a prayer your way! And you had me rolling with laughter over the dog incident! Smaloney--I appreciate the good wishes. I'm hoping in 6.5 years the holidays aren't as hard. Taggie--LOL on the floor cleaner camouflaging the etches! The etches don't really bother me. Your continued kind wishes touch me. :) Deedles--Being without both parents for the holidays, or any day really, must feel lonely, I imagine. As much as I have issues with my Mom's issues, at least she's still here with me. And yes, the parent of the Sandy Hook kids are the ones that are truly having the worst holidays. I found a recipe using the same ingredients as the Kleenite...easy and cheap. 1&1/2 cups Washing Soda 1&1/2 cups Citric Acid 1/2 Cup Baking Soda 1 Tablespoon Sodium percarbonate Mix all together and store in airtight container. This will be extremely cheap to make and is the exact ingredients as the Kleenite. For those of you that are having good luck with the Kleenite I'd recommend you take 5 minutes and mix your own. There are a lot of people online having good luck with this. I just think Kleenite should be ashamed of themselves for the price they are charging for this.
