Best window treatments for a large living room window on busy street?
Comments (3)IMO the darker drape does not work with the sofa. As for snarkey I will say that to have blinds to keep out the sun is the worst choice I like to be able to see out of my windows so I choose solar shades to control light and heat they also give you day time privacy and then I add drapes for nightime privacy . Comments (4)When it comes to window treatments, form and function should always go hand in hand. In your case, child safety is the #1 priority, so anything with a cord or endless chain is (almost) out of question. How about a lithium-ion battery motor roller shade? Window film alone won’t be enough to block street lights that may be distracting for anyone trying to sleep. What about some kind of room darkening opaque drapes that block glare, provide privacy, but still let you see out through them enough to be able to determine if the window is open or closed?...See MoreJmint
