side note to Lynn - I was on the dating scene not too long ago so I know what that's like (after my ex suddenly left me). People show what they're made of over time, so be very patient as you get to know them. Be yourself and don't be afraid to turn off people who aren't a good fit. Few people these days are capable of commitment because our society promotes a "shopping"/disposable mentality when it comes to relationships. Commitment comes from deep within and you have to know a person's character and past to know whether they are capable of that. You can see that in how they've handled past relationships, friendships, jobs, and business arrangements. My current husband and I found one another through non-dating channels. Because it was long distance we had a chance to get to know one another deeply with no pressure or expectations. I'm a lucky woman. I can tell you that having a partner to "help with decisions" isn't always convenient though ;) . Handy-ness can go either way too. I haven't had a sink or range or dishwasher for three days now because dh is too busy with work to hook everything up. When you aren't handy and don't have a handy spouse you just hire someone and get-er-done :) .

hey zhen ding, I think* I've decided. I started looking again in July/August of this year. I brought home a lot of new samples and just was not "wowed" by any of them. I think the problem is that what I really want is solid oak floors and custom stained. But since I'm in Houston on a slab, that's just not the best way to go. Sooooooo after living on plywood and concrete since 2016 I just decided this week I'm going with one of my original picks....Greenworld Artisan line. Is it perfect? No. But so far it's the best I've found that was reasonably priced. AND I'm really, really just tired of looking and debating and researching this. AND our furniture has been in storage since Nov. 2016 and I'm just tired of having my house torn apart. At some point, you gotta just make a decision and get on with life. In the grand scheme of things, it's just a floor. I have Buffaloe coming out to measure again on Monday. Kurt was so helpful and patient almost 4 years ago when I was stressing over this. He always answered my questions thoroughly and never got irritated. Always brought me whatever samples I wanted. And he is very knowledgeable. I will probably get another quote but I did feel that the quote he gave me last time was fair. I'll try and remember to post back here. If I forget, just remind me.

There is only one genuine Black Walnut. Its grown here in the United States. Lots of companies will import lesser quality species from other countries and generically call it "walnut" Sam Gentry cabinets are genuine Black Walnut.

I did one here w/this bathroom. the vanity is 36" with a quartz countertop. Do a wall mount faucet for more counter space and easier clean up. there are a ton of 36" right offset vanities out there.
