How did we get things done before the internet?

Last night I went to a national furniture store to look at love seats. The saleslady on the stores letter head put all the information (color, codes, etc) and the total price. Went back today with hubby so he could try it out and they would not honor the price saying it was incorrect and wanted to charge me over $800 more. They tried to tell me it was only for the floor model that wasn't even the color I wanted. Zip zip on the internet for the phone number to talk to PA attorney general office. They said it sounds like from what I described that it was illegal in PA and was covered under bait and switch act and wanted me to file. I decided to tackle corporate first. Zip zip, back on the internet to get the CEO,etc emails off the internet. Emailed corporate at 3 pm and received a phone call at 5 from the store that they would honor the price first stated. Love seat is coming in 4-6 weeks.

I use the internet to find out sooo much information that was never available before. Progress sometimes can be a pain, but sometimes a god sent.

Don't mess with older ladies, they survived a life time of sh_t and aren't going to walk away anymore. Just because we are older doesn't mean we are stupid, missing our marbles or assume the only thing we know how to do is bake cookies.
