match the pantry doors to the other doors in your home.. we just redid our 1st floor and kitchen cabinets are shaker and the new 1st floor doors are all similar shaker style..

No to the first two choices -- I very much like barn doors (have one myself for the laundry), but I would find it irritating to slide back and forth in a pantry situation, and I can't stand bifold doors. I don't like how they open (it just seems...clunky), and I think they look cheap. Hinged is the way to go IMO. I just had the bi-fold on my pantry replaced with two narrow hinged doors my DH built, and I couldn't be happier.

if I have the same style doors as my cabinets, I would have to have a board in the middle of the opening To have 2 sets of doors On each side. Otherwise, I’d have to have 2 large doors that would open too wide

With well placed hardware, this option looks Like it checks all my boxes! It’s a blend of option 2 and 3. It will match my cabinets, offers low profile doors and avoids having my contractor add a 2 x 4 in middle! Thanks everyone !
