Building a new house. Cabinets are almost done. Paint is SW requisite grey. Still
Waiting on granite counter tops but it will be light with some grey, black and bit of brown- called quite ice. Thinking I will need a backsplash put in eventually. Thoughts?

Looks dark in this lighting but by day does not. Light is northern exposure

Beautiful. Your possibilities are endless with these neutral colors. Hard to advise without seeing the counter top.

Thanks for all of your input Mayflowers! The tile has a bit of a basket weave effect due to its handcrafted nature. The color is "Toast" and we used "Cornsilk" grout and caulk. Our Installer sealed the tile as it has a crackle glaze. We are VERY pleased with the entire Kitchen Renewal Project! Even our pup got an upgraded space with the help of Frontgate.

Would have to see your cabinets, countertop and floors in their actual light to make good recommendations... have you considered painting the kitchen walls white? The gray against the white cabinets with that vaulted ceiling makes it look a little broken up and white would make the cabinets look taller instead of squatty as they appear now.

Yep, wait until you get your counters in.

Make sure the fabricators know you’ll be putting in a tile backsplash so they scribe the counters to the wall, not put in a granite splash.
