Comments (11)Annie's clock is in the heart of Prague, in the Czech Republic. When it rings the figures start moving, some of the doors above the clock face and to the left of the clock face open and other figures come out. When I was there with my brother in 1990, we were standing in front of the clock waiting for it to ring. My brother handed me his camera saying he was having trouble lining the shot up due to his glasses. I took the camera, looked through the viewfinder, lined up the shot, and pressed the button. The camera took the picture, and then started rewinding the film -- it was the last shot on the roll. My brother shouted at me "No, I meant 2 minutes from now when the clock starts ringing!" "I knew it was the last shot on the roll and didn't want to miss the shot, since we don't have any more rolls with us at the moment" To this day when we get together he will still sometimes upbraid me for my error....See MoreI'll show you mine/you show me yours - Su 3/21/21

Comments (21)I wondered whether it might be Northern Lights, Annie. They are beautiful, and keep changing in a shifting panorama, often covering most of the northern sky. I saw them on the prairies, seldom this far south, but I remember seeing them once in this area as I was growing up prior to moving to Saskatchewan at 17. ole joyful...See More

- 7 years agolast modified: 7 years agoI forgot about the calla lilies I have in my front yard. They are just now starting to bloom again. I'm allergic to Oriental lilies (the most beautiful and fragrant) but not to Asian lilies, as they tend not to have a fragrance.
