Please help us pick our exterior colors.
Comments (1)Are you wanting to stick with just siding or are you thinking about introducing another material such as stone or brick? Are you doing vinyl siding or cement board? What sort of colors do YOU guys like? Blues, greens browns? You couldnt go wrong with a medium blue gray as the field color, accenting with possibly shake style gable siding in a color such as brown, and maybe introducing a cream colored limestone veneer on the front bumped out section? Creamy white trim and windows would set it off nicely. Select a nice brown stained mahogany style door. That is just my quick suggestion :)...See MorePlease help decide how to update our exterior 1964 side split
Comments (20)I think a regular shingle roof would be more appropriate for the house. Metal is kind of country and more expensive. I think if you do a garage on the side, the roof line has to stay in concert with the house too....See MoreHelp, update the exterior of our purchased home with keeping
Comments (11)To me you have a great home exterior that just needs a few things: Landscaping Wide walkway to the front door Larger coach light next to the front door Address numbers that are visible from the street Paint your front door an accent color Paint your foundation color a dark color so it disappears (dark gray would work or a color that blends with the brick) Paint the downspouts a color to blend with the brick Did I mention landscaping :)...See MoreI need help with updating the exterior of our house, please.
Comments (5)can you post a picture of the roof color you're getter? pewter can have blue/gray tones, or brown tones Right now, in your picture, I see regular red brick paired w/a very cool tone siding color. almost looks like a lavender gray. which direction is the front of your house facing? North? East? let me show you a few before and afters , some of which have the replaced windows. see what you're drawn too this frist one did exactly what you want to do to your arch windows. Doesn't look bad. a slightly diff style home though. I like the addition in the gables, the painted brick, updated front door another one w/the rectangles. don't care for it here. I'd do a larger window (black one) and close up the rest of it this one is similar. they removed the arch and didn't replace it. covered it w/the shake. limewashed the brick, took down the arched entryway. added the shutters. looks a bit more french country a bit more modern w/the black windows, wood garage door. new windows (Rombio Classico on the brick) They kept the arch, but removed the grids. along w/the painted brick, wood accents, black windows, it really looks updated...See MoreBeverlyFLADeziner
