I like the white too. I also like the garage door you already have better than the one, you want to purchase. I dislike those metal rails too, and think your house looks better with the type you already have.

I think a vivid color door would make your house look modern. A light blue door would matches with the color of your house and would be very beautiful to look at.

I’d look at Farrow & Ball, Dulux, and Edward Bulmer colors. Do searches for them with ’front doors’ and lots of images come up. Here’s a few initial thoughts. I don’t think the door should be a focal point, in fact, I would paint it to match the walls to reduce visual clutter. The rear wall is an excellent place for large art you really love that pulls in the color of your drapes. I would place a long, low bench under the art. Add pillows in all the colors in the room to make everything cohesive. I think the clock is a bit large for that space, but if you love it, I would hang it so that the middle is at eye level.
