Comments (16)I did not make it this time. The husband mumbled something to me this morning while I was sleeping. I mumbled, "What? " He said about a noise, did I hear it? I was sleeping, I told him. Then he asked "but what was that? " Then I said something colorful and forgot about the Rabbit Rabbit. Not covered. Probably cursed this month for cursing....See MoreDon't forget: rabbit rabbit! Comments (19)Oh dear, I blew it, kind of. When I was on the big island, I took a piece of lava rock home with me and then all sorts of terrible ills befell my family one after the other, broken bones, surgeries and so on. So then I started saying "Pele Pele Rabbit Rabbit" and the ills went away. So ever since then, I say "Pele Pele Rabbit Rabbit". But this a.m. I screwed up and said Rabbit Rabbit...then Pele Pele...hope she doesn't seek revenge on me this month!!...See MoreDon't forget Rabbit Rabbit
Comments (18)Happy New Year! Bury the money today, while saying I'm burying my problems. After midnight say rabbit rabbit then Happy New Year. Eat lucky foods and bang clean pots. Dig up the money while saying I'm uncovering my fortunes. I think I've got it. For further fun personally I'm also going to shake an empty wallet at the sky. :-). Lots of fun for me. The rest of my family is bordering on ho hum about most holiday and traditional stuff so it's a party of one mostly. I'm fine to have fun on my family's behalf. :-) Also happy to say goodbye 2020! So happy to be rolling in 2021! Hooray! ... Although we did get the vaccine made and vaccinations started in 2020 so maybe that is something. Not nearly enough but something... Here's an article about superstitions around the world. I don't think I'll do all of them :-) I do not want that n'k'd potato. https://blog.atlastravelweb.com/special-interests/festivals-2/unusual-questions-about-new-years-eve-superstitions/...See Moreyeonassky
