Comments (12)I'd probably pair with white but many folks like pink or red. If there's an orange, I'd like that as well. They would both be spring bloomers and then green all summer, though different shades of green and the VGB might throw out a few flowers. If you want summer blooms, look at some of the smaller Hydrangea paniculata types such as Bobo or Little Quickfire. Comments (2)What I think you need is moving the shrub to line up with the window (don't plant too close), a small tree (it would need to go in a bed farther from the garage), a perennial along the house corner and low groundcover filling in the areas near walk.
