New propane boiler has strong propane smell.

Hi,

I put a new propane boiler into my house about 4 years ago. Ever since day 1, there has been a strong propane odor coming from the area of the basement where the unit is located. At first I thought there might be a leaky fitting on the new propane lines that I ran. The propane delivery company came out and checked the lines & fitting with a soap and water solution and didn't find any issues. The plumber who installed the unit also couldn't find any leaks and chalked it up to the smell of propane when it is burning. I have been in many other houses with propane heat and I have never smelled anything close to this. The unit I have is a Slant Fin Model S-90 EDP.

I am wondering if maybe something inside the unit isn't calibrated correctly and there is gas escaping out of the line that isn't burning?

Any thoughts or insights into this would be very helpful. Thank you!
