Has anybody else ever had this to happen?
Comments (59)This happened to me years ago and although it’s an old thread, I wanted to comment in case it help anyone. I experienced the same symptoms as most on this thread- I went to see all kinds of specialists but when I finally went to my general doctor, he fixed me. Literally made a difference in 15 min. He is a general practitioner but also certified to do manipulations which is different than a chiropractor. He did tests to see if I may have MS or carpel tunnel. But those target specific fingers. He then made me stand up and checked my back. BOOM! I had three ribs out of place. Finally after 6+ months of my right hand tingling and bruising, I had an answer. Dislocated ribs sometimes don’t cause pain BUT if they pinch the right nerve, it can cause all the symptoms to your arm and fingers. Popped blood vessels etc. he adjusted me (again, different from a chiropractor) and within 15 min I felt relief in my arm hand and fingers. Now, anytime I feel tingling, I go see him and sure enough, my rib is out. People can displace ribs with a sneeze. Sometimes it causes pain and other times you can’t even tell. A miracle for me....See MoreAlisande... Raynauds and Fibromyalgia
Comments (5)I don't know if this is significant or not, but when I was a child (under nine, because my mom was still alive) I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid. I'd say that could be very significant since a lot of the time all these health problems tend to be seen together. The current test for thyroid disease, the TSH isn't really a very good indicator of thyroid function.. but that's what most doctors go by. I'd suggest having your doctor run the thyroid antibody tests too. I went to doctor after doctor for over 10 years to finally get one to run the right tests. ALL my other blood tests were normal, but the antibody tests were way off indicating autoimmune Hashimoto's Disease. Good luck!...See MoreAny married couples sleeping in twin beds? Comments (100)Do you all think this is a crazy idea? I spent most of the day rearranging the furniture. Took the 2 IKEA bookcases away from the dresser side and tried them as headboards--sort of. Thought I was on to something brilliant until I discovered/remembered that one is the older model which had slightly thicker sides and so stands about one inch higher than the . Argh! (I moved the beds closer to each other which my husband likes. Will likely look for 2 adjustable lamps.) I know we could go get another of the newer style, but I don't know about how far the beds stick out from the wall now. Not that we were using that middle space, though. P.S. Yes, all of our curtains hang too high. We need a handyman to adjust them as my husband and I are incapable of hanging anything correctly. (Especially when not all the draperies are exactly the same length.)...See MoreSept week 4 "I wish it would rain"
Comments (56)Amy, we have not been too fond of dry peas either, but Madge will cook them from time to time. We have a few pounds of PEPH seeds, and have more fresh peas in the freezer, and still some on the vines that should be dry by now. I would have already cut them down if it were not for the added hot wires we strung over them. I have deer problems, but this year they were worse because of the dry weather. The deer would jump the electric fence to eat the peas. My neighbor and I bought over a mile of electric fence wire to discourage the deer. Moni, does your rain gauge ever freeze? I have bought many, only to forget about them and let them freeze and break. I have had a new one for over a year, it had beveled sides. I bought it thinking that maybe the ice would slide up the sides as it expanded. Madge tells everyone that keep it under my bed to protect it, the truth is, I have no idea where it is. We have not done much today. Madge's older brother died this morning. We did go out to eat, but nothing tasted good. I need to go to the wildlife garden and repair the fence. I doubt that I will pick any peas, because we just had another shower, and I dont want to fool with a bunch of wet peas....See MoreAdella Bedella
