Winter Blues and Hoya News

Hi everyone,

Been away, but just stopping to check in with you all. We just got hit with a nasty snowstorm not long ago. More on the way. All of my Hoyas are doing great. They seem to be appreciating the mistings I've been giving them so the vines don't dry up from the low humidity. Obscura "Philip" is the only one that seems to be showing any signs of struggle, but that's because he's been kept on the drier side of things. Nikki is doing really well. She has so many peduncles on her that I hope that she'll finally bloom this year.

Spring seems so far away. I'm ready for the gardening season to get here. Side note: along the highway, down the road, are sheds and garden structures placed there by a local establishment that deals in such. They have a 4x4 or 4x6 greenhouse of wood and corrugated plastic that would look great in the yard. It's so tempting! Oh, if I had the money, lol.

Hang in there, guys. Soon we'll have lots of growth and blooms.
