Bev, I think that's great how you took the Attic Windows block and made something new out of it for the front! Too kewl! I've a question for you though... where did the material for the back come from? It didn't happen to migrate from my stash to yours at some point in time, did it? The "tone-on-tone" isn't going to happen for about 8-10 yrs. I plan on changing out all the draperies to browns/creams and repainting all the walls a beige color. The red pillows are a temporary fix until I get the rug replaced. I ordered a 9x12 seagrass today and am hoping that it will add the needed texture in the room. I've refocused my energy on decorating the Princess Suite and ran into the exact same rug problem. The rug in there is similar to the LR and my MIL bought us an expensive Horchow bedding set a couple of years back that clashes with the rug. This time, I decided to work around the bedroom rug and ordered new bedding in in blue/cream jacobean bird print that worked off of the rug. The bedding just arrived and I really like it. I'll need help decorating my walls in that room so I will post pics under a new thread.

patricia: That's so nice of you to say! Thank you very much. It's getting there--bit by bit. The buff-colored one? You mean this little guy? OMG: he's a terror. I love him to death, but he has serious territorial issues. A friend of mine recently asked how he was and I replied that he was doing fabulously and that he's my heart of hearts. To which my friend replied, "Yeah, well you're a parade of one for that one, I'm afraid." I don't care. He's complicated, but is a sweetheart with us. les: I'm SO glad you approve. :) Still searching for dark blue pillows, although I'm beginning to wonder if the coral red on my sofa pillows is okay with the rug? And then I think, oh for godsake, you don't have to have the same damn red on every object in the room. And THEN I think, when are you going to get on with your life??? :)

amck, the Natura pillows are Canadian sizes, so they're different from American standard and queen size pillows. The standard Natura is quite small. I have the standard because I ordered it first because I like American standard pillows better than queen, but it was so small, like a kid's pillow, so I have that on the sofa and I ordered a queen for the bed. I think everyone here who bought Naturas got the queen size. You'll need queen cases for it as well. The standards will be much too small.
