It looks great! My only thought is that the chair seat looks deep-- it may just be the angle of the photo. If you need an extra pillow on the back to make sitting comfortable, I'd do a very small pattern in the red. The pillow and the red are really perfect for that beautiful chair!

a little OT, I never commented on your other thread but I just wanted to add that I love the karastan rug you have in there now - the colors in the rug are so luxe and it works well with the fireplace and furniture.

I do believe that I need your chair and pillow in my soon-to-be decorated guest room. Don't worry, I'll be sure to sit and enjoy them both every day!

The darker color of the red damask is a great foil for the colors in the bosporous toile, and doesn't fade out against the light chair. Same idea of adding the dark blue pillows behind the existing pillows on your couch.

OMG: he's a terror. I love him to death, but he has serious territorial issues. A friend of mine recently asked how he was and I replied that he was doing fabulously and that he's my heart of hearts. To which my friend replied, "Yeah, well you're a parade of one for that one, I'm afraid." I don't care. He's complicated, but is a sweetheart with us.

les: I'm SO glad you approve. :) Still searching for dark blue pillows, although I'm beginning to wonder if the coral red on my sofa pillows is okay with the rug? And then I think, oh for godsake, you don't have to have the same damn red on every object in the room. And THEN I think, when are you going to get on with your life??? :)

I love the pillow...I am a pillow freak as well, and have
too many pillows (for the average person that is, but still not enough for me!) I make them,
I buy them, and hunt ebay for them...as a matter of fact,
I am awaiting another beagle tapestry pillow
that I won last week on ebay.
Thus, I understand your pillow excitement! oh yeah!

The chairs are pretty too as well as the rug. Enjoy everything...the pillow is really lovely
and does make everything shine!

We can't see your reds as you do, but all colors do not have to be the same -- just somehow blend. It's more interesting and relaxed when they don't.

Interesting comment about the dog (such a cutie!) being territorial. He's complicated, but is a sweetheart with us describes my little guy to a tee. He's getting better as he slows down (six y.o. now) but it's been a challenge.
