Help! How to decorate a home office with light gray-blue walls

Hi everybody, brand new to the forum, seeking help!

I just moved into an apartment and hadn't quite noticed that the walls are not pure white, but more of a light gray-blue in the daylight, and more a light gray elsewhere.

I'm a single man who works from home and I prefer a more robust palette than the pastels and light neutrals these rooms seem to call for.

Any advice on how to give the rooms a bit more of a serious vibe? As they are now, they seem a notch away from a nursery. Not a great space to get work done!

Tried to get an accurate photo, but color is actually lighter and slightly bluer than depicted. Maybe enough clues for some advice though?

You can see a bit of my desk in there too, a reddish brown. I think it looks ok in the space (my home office).

I prefer minimalist style, by the way. I was thinking of just a rug, some plants, some art on the walls, and by "some" I mean one or two of each.

Thank you!

- Steven
