Please help me choose a wall color for my home office!
Comments (15)kristinamaria and teacats, you are on the same wavelength. I think I will do that... find the fabric first. And teacats, I absolutely LOVE THAT FABRIC. Seriously, I LOVE it!! I am going to go back to that site in a minute and see about a sample. Thanks for linking that. I luv my GW friends. :o) You all are so helpful. Each person has something to share that I had not thought of/had not realized. Thanks for sharing all of your advice. I'm going to find the fabric and see if I can get my green in the fabric, and then I think I'll go with whatever blue the "experts" have put in the fabric. I'm just not the best with paint colors. Thanks! ;o) mrsrose, I am headed out the door in a few minutes, but will post a few kitchen shots on here later today for you to see. Thanks for the compliments from you and lindybarts too. ;o)...See MoreGray or Blue Gray for Office/Study?
Comments (15)Just to update for those who tried to help but didn't see my photos posted on another thread....... I finally pulled out my stash of large Farrow & Ball chips and took Pigeon to be colormatched at my local Ace Hardware store. Turns out, they actually had the formula for it in their computer for Benjamin Moore paint, so I bought Ben Moore colormatched to Pigeon. We absolutely love it! It provides just the right amount of color, looks blue at some times, more gray green at others. We bought an old desk off Craigslist for $40 and spent another $40 spray-painting it black. I reused his leather desk chair and my DD's bookshelves. We put back the old persian rug and will consider wood flooring later down the road. I need to hem the Lowes canvas dropcloths I have hung as drapes, and then, I'll be done. In the first picture on the link I show, it looks more blue than in reality, but the other two shots are pretty true. All 3 pix were taken within a few minutes of each other one afternoon this week. Comments (5)The room was previously decorated with art, decorative pieces above hutch and rug but we have cleared that all out and are restarting. This is his personal office so he is only in there a few hours a week doing solo work (no clients or zoom calls), etc. We will remove tree, the "heirloom" table and replace the lighting. I was looking for ideas for art, rugs and window treatments. The furniture is very traditional, but we have been renovating the house and moving away from traditional. Thank you all for your ideas!!...See MoreLil S
