Help! Should I leave our TV centered above the fireplace or mantel?
Comments (33)I would paint lower cabinet doors black and insides of bookcase black. Add a couple simple white and gold accessories along with a group of books light backs. Add simple look on mantel on side of TV. Add black woven basket for toys beside fireplace. Add stack of birch logs to fireplace for decorative look if you don’t use it often. Do not put personal photos on this wall. Better in gallery arrangement in master br or in hallway. You can enjoy more when you can get closer to them. Guests aren’t interested in your personal stuff. Keep it simple since your sweet baby will be running around before you know it!...See MorePlacing artwork above off centered TV
Comments (31)I like the clock much better than the script art. And I like the wall without the script much better. It hasn't been very long, maybe give yourself some more time to get used to the simpler wall? Otherwise, maybe put this clock, or a larger one on the wall above the tv and centered with the peak. I feel like something round like a clock will not look as off when centered as a square or rectangular piece. Then you would need to find something else for the fireplace....See MoreBalancing Large TV off center to fireplace?
Comments (3)Would you be able to add more images of the entire room so we can see if this is the only correct place for the TV? Perhaps there is another place in the room for it and it would work on an articulating arm?...See MoreDesign Dilemma: 2 or 3 Pendant Lights Over Off Centered Island???
Comments (12)IMO the space is very crowded and not a good work space . I don't even think sinks need to be at windows since we spend so little time at sinks if we use out DWs properly and to place a sink to look out at the great room really makes no sense . If the stools are in use there is no way to access the stuff behing them all the walkways are too small . Are you an actual KD or just an ID Kitchen design begins with function and clients need to be guided by that function . Often clients need to be told when something they want will just not work.IMo first fix the function then worry about the pendants ....See More- 5 years ago
