I think grey has hit its high point in popularity, so work with the colors of your fabrics and lean into greige, beige, chocolate.

I “liked” deco’s opinion on gray, as I think gray, in general, has lived its life for now.

You seem to get a good amount of natural light in the space, but I don’t think you should paint the third wall another color. You have the brick wall for accent.

With your beige furniture and the light, I am going with a gray, in spite of my comments. In particular, B.M. Stonington Gray would work well in the space.

When you choose draperies, have the fabric the same color as the beige furniture. It will be a nice connect with the Stonington gray walls. Also, run the rod across the window as well. I would hang the rod as high as. possible. The stack back fabric on either side will frame the space beautifully.

Thanks both! Judy, I was thinking it would be nice to paint the 3 walls that form the living room slightly darker as it gets a Lot more light - to prevent the colour from being washed out. I wouldn't consider it an accent wall. There is a natural corner on each side to transition to the lighter colour for the darker side of the space. And paint this space something like white duck (SW). Do you think that would work? Or just keep it all one lighter colour? Thanks for the tip on the curtain hanging I wouldn’t have thought to do that. Hopefully we can extend it all the way across then.
