Having an interior window between our study and dining

Hi, we need some advice on an interior window which we are a little nervous about.

We have a small living and a small study right behind it. Since both rooms are small, we wanted to be able to connect the space to give a more spacious look and separate when needed. We explored options to have a door (like a slider, bifold etc) between the study and living which would be open most of the time, but either that didn't fit or we weren't sure how it would look etc, so our architect suggested having a big picture window instead. That would connect the space between 2 rooms and also let us utilize that wall for any furniture etc if needed (specially inside the study). Our study might have to function as a bedroom once in a while, so we have an option of putting something to cover up the window or a decorative film later.

Any opinions on how that would look or any other suggestions would be of great help. Here is our plan.

(The purple oval is where the 5X5 picture window will be positioned. We have a slider on the perpendicular wall in the study)
